SPRING 2012 ADULT CLASS LIST
SOLD OUT ~ MORNING HATHA YOGA – This Hatha Yoga class combines yoga postures with the relaxation response, meditation and confidence building techniques. It is a holistic exercise program that reduces stress, tones muscles, improves balance, and strengthens the body, mind and spirit. Participants are both relaxed and energized. There will be a class held on Tuesdays and a class held on Thursdays ~ both will be held for a 6-week session. A certified instructor will teach class, and participants should bring a mat. Classes are held in the Community Room at the Holden Light Department, 1 Holden Street. The Tuesday morning classes will start May
1, 2012 from 9:15 to 10:15 a.m. (NO class will be held on Tuesday, May 8th due to voting) and the Thursday morning classes will start May 3, 2012 from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m.

HEALING POWER OF YOGA MORNING RETREAT ~ "The Law of Karma" ~ Join us for a morning of Karma Yoga ~ the law of cause and effect. Discover the true meaning of karma and how to use it in the practice of yoga and in everyday life. The morning retreat will be held on Thursday, June 14, 2012 from 9:00 a.m. to 12 noon in the Community Room at the Holden Light Department, 1 Holden Street. A certified instructor will teach class, and participants should bring a mat. Herbal tea and refreshments will be served. Registration is required.

FLIP IT FOR FAT LOSS - “Flip It” is based on the latest research in weight loss. The body burns more calories when working through a fatigued effort, therefore all muscular work for the entire body will be instructed during the first part of the class and the cardio work will be preformed during the second half of class. Abdominals, hips, gluts and arms will experience a workout that can be done by everyone! Fat loss can be achieved by exercising the right way, five times a week, so the instructor will hand out and explain the “Flip It” homework for the week. This class will help you gain better health and self-esteem. The 6-week class will meet at Wachusett Regional High School, room G106, on Tuesday evenings from
6:00 to 7:00 p.m. beginning May 8, 2012. Plan on an extra 15 minutes, the first class meeting. Pre-registration is required and should be done so one week prior to the first class.

WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL ~ Women are encouraged to join us on Thursday evenings at Mountview Middle School from 7:15 - 9:00 for some fun and exciting volleyball games. This program runs from September 8, 2011 through the end of May, 2012.
COST: $30.00 every 10 weeks, or $4.00 per night.
MEN'S BASKETBALL - Men are welcome to join us every Thursday evening at the Mayo School gym from 8:00 - 10:00 p.m. for some pick-up games. This program runs from September 8, 2011 through the end of May, 2012.

3CPYo - The popular 3CPYo is being offered again on Thursday evenings in the Mayo Elementary School gym, from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. 3CPYo class is designed to burn fat, release stress and body sculpt. This is the perfect exercise class for all, with 20 minutes of fat burning, easy to follow Cardio exercises, followed by 20 minutes of Pilate's core strengthening and finishing with 20 minutes of Yoga's peaceful stretch and meditation. 3CPYo class will run for 8 weeks, beginning March 8, 2012. Pre-registration is required and should be done so one week prior to the first class.

YOGA FOR EVERY "BODY" - Yoga is about strength, balance, flexibility, and mindful peace. All of the postures in the class can be modified for your body. This is a good class to take if you want to learn what Yoga is all about. Breathing techniques, relaxation, and physical challenges are all a big part of this program. A certified instructor will teach the 8-week class and participants should bring a mat. Join us to find your inner peace with Yoga. Classes are being held in the Mayo Elementary School gym, on Thursday evenings from 7:00 to 7:50 p.m, beginning March 8, 2012.

ZUMBA - Zumba class combines high energy and motivating music with unique Latin dance moves creating an exciting and effective fitness program for all participants. ~This is a beginner class that is fun and easy to do. This popular fitness program will lift your spirits to new heights. The 8-week class will meet in the Mayo Elementary School gym, from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., beginning Tuesday, March 6, 2012.

ZUMBA with SCULPTING - On Thursday evenings a new adult exercise class is being offered that adds Pilates and body sculpting to the ever-popular Zumba classes that are offered: Zumba with Sculpting. The 8-week fitness class combines 40 minutes of high energy dance moves to music, and 20 minutes of Pilates and body sculpting exercises. The motivating music features a variety of rhythms from all over Latin America: Merengue, Salsa, Mambo, Cumbia, Hip-Hop, Cha-Cha and Reggae. Together these popular exercises and music create an exciting, effective, easy to follow fitness program for all. The class will meet in the Mountview School gym, from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., beginning March 8, 2012. Participants should bring a set of hand weights.

ADULT CLASS REFUND POLICY
A $6.00 FEE WILL BE APPLIED FOR WITHDRAWAL FROM ANY CLASS PRIOR TO THE FIRST MEETING. 50% REFUND FOR WITHDRAWAL BEFORE THE SECOND CLASS MEETING. NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED AFTER THE SECOND CLASS.
NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED FOR BUS TRIPS.
