The Zoning Administrator held a public hearing on January 17, 2012 at 9:00 a.m. in Memorial Hall, 1196 Main Street, Holden, MA on the Application of Leonard Gengel, C & S Builders, Inc. for property located at 57 Vista Circle for a SPECIAL PERMIT for an accessory apartment to a new home being constructed.
Pamela Harding, Zoning Administrator, called the hearing to order. Since there were no objections, the reading of the application and findings of fact was waived.
Joan Gengel Pentland, realtor for the prospective buyer, Claudette Gefvert, explained that Ms. Gefvert plans to live in the accessory apartment and her daughter and son-in-law will live in the main house.
Since there were no further comments or questions, the public hearing was closed at 9:15 a.m.
After fully reviewing the case, the Zoning Administrator granted the special permit with the following conditions: 1) The occupant of the accessory apartment is restricted to Claudette Gefvert; 2) The occupancy of the main single family residence is restricted to Dan and Kelly Doherty, daughter and son-in-law of the owner and 3) The accessory apartment must remain less than 700 square feet.
