IMPORTANT TRASH NOTICE
Changes to Trash Collection Routes
On Monday October 8, 2007, we will implement changes to the trash collection routes for Tuesday and Wednesday. We are moving some collections from Tuesday to Monday, and some Wednesday collections to Thursday. The impetus for these changes is a need to reduce these two routes to approximately 1200 households per day; currently collections on these days represent in the range of 1500-1600 households. This imbalance has resulted in extended days particularly on recycling weeks. With shorter days in the fall and winter months, along with the complications of inclement weather, Casella has recommended the changes. After careful review we developed the following list of changes. Residents will be informed by Casella whose drivers will attach a
sticker to each trash container beginning the week of September 24, 2007.
