The changes will become effective on August 26, 2006. 9. Main Street Banners  Over the past few years, we have worked with LaPrade Advertising, the Holden Chamber of Commerce, and various Holden merchants, developing seasonal banners to be displayed on the decorative light poles along Main Street. LaPrade Advertising has worked directly with the merchants to design four different themed banners (ex. spring, summer, etc.) that will carry the merchants name and/or logo on the bottom third of the banner. We have learned that the banners will be ordered within the next week and we will begin mounting them shortly after they are delivered. We are working with the designer to get a sample banner to show to the Selectmen prior to their mounting on light poles.
