1. Reservoir Street
During the summer and fall Reservoir Street was opened to install a new sewer line and a new gas line to the Stoney Brook development. All of the lines were finally installed this past week. The developer is required to repave the trench prior to the winter season. Dependent on the weather, it is anticipated that the trench will be repaved the week of November 15, 2010. We appreciate the resident’s patience in this process.

2. Mountview School Meter
This past summer the schools installed a new compound water meter at Mountview School. The meter has been operational since September. I have attached a report from Jim Shuris, Public Works Director indicating the readings on the meter to date. We will be notifying the schools of the difference in the readings and will discuss the financial implication with the school district after reviewing a full year with the new meter.

4. Solid Waste Collection
As part of our audit of the solid waste collection program, residents were sent stickers to be placed on their blue trash toters by the week of November 15th. I would like to remind the residents that this week Casella will not be collecting trash from toters that do not have an appropriate sticker. Residents should contact the Light Department at (508) 829-0233 to obtain a sticker if they do not already have one.
