When can I register my child for the Before and After School Programs?
Registration begins August 1st at the Recreation Department, 175 Highland Street, Holden, MA.
How can I register my child for the Before and After School Programs?
ALL participants must contact the Recreation Department at 508-829-0263 to complete a registration enrollment form.
New participants will be asked to come into the Recreation Office to pick up/complete a child information packet. Payment for the 1st week's attendance and a non-refundable registration fee is required at that time.
Question's regarding: Pool, Summer programs for 2008
When does the pool open? The pool opens weekends only, starting the first Saturday in June from 12pm to 5pm. The pool opens for the season when school dismisses for the summer vacation.
When is the Summer brochure available? The last week of April.
How can I get a brochure? You can download the most current brochure from our website. *Summer Brochures are distributed to the children who attend the following schools: Mayo, Davis Hill and Dawson. Other locations: Recreation Office, Gale Free Library and Town Managers Office.
Where and when can I purchase a Recreation Pass? Recreation Passes can be purchased at 175 Highland St, Holden, MA from 9:00am to 3:30pm, beginning April 1.
What is the cost for the 2008 season Recreation Pass? Holden resident : $25.00/person; Holden family pass (4 or more, year round residents) $90.00. Cash or check.
Can a Non-Resident visit the pool? A limited number of non-resident passes (400) will be available beginning April 1. The cost is $75.00 per person. Non-residents can pay a daily rate of $10.00 per person. Cash or money order.
Do I need a Recreation Pass to participate in a program? Everyone who participates in a summer program is required to have a Recreation Pass. Passes need to be purchased before you can register for a program.
When can I register for summer programs? Registration for Holden Residents is tentatively the second Saturday in May. Check the Summer Brochure for date, time and location and/or check out the Recreation Calendar online. Additional dates will be announced at a later date.
When can I reserve the pool for a splash party? Reservations can be made after the pool officially opens for the season. A Recreation Pass is required.
