Before and After School Program registration begins Monday, August 1, 2011 at 9:00 a.m. Registration is available ON-LINE ONLY. You must have a household account on the Recreation website in order to register. If you have not created an account, please visit www.townofholden.net, click on Recreation Information and then link to Myrec.com. Be sure all members of your family are listed individually on your account. If you do not have computer access, you are welcome to use the computer at the Recreation office, located at 175 Highland Street.
A non-refundable $18.00 registration fee and payment for the first week must be made at the time of registration. YOUR CHILD(REN) ARE NOT CONSIDERED REGISTERED UNTIL PAYMENT IS MADE, so we suggest you make this payment on-line, mail a check or come to the office as soon as possible.
If your child participated in the program last year (2010-11), please be sure your paperwork is updated, initialed and dated (you may have done this at the end of the school year). If your child DID NOT participate last year, you will need to print out and complete the 6 forms listed on the bottom of the Before and After School information page on the website. These forms may also be picked up at the Recreation Office. The forms MUST be returned to the Recreation office no later than Tuesday, August 23, 2011.
BEFORE and AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMS
The Before and After School Programs are offered to all children in grades K - 5 at Dawson, Davis Hill and Mayo Schools. The morning program runs from 7:30 - 9:00 a.m. The afternoon program runs from school dismissal until 6:00 p.m. The ratio of staff to children is at least 1:13. Juice will be provided in the morning. Juice and snacks are provided in the afternoon. The Department of Early Education and Care licenses these programs.
Registration is on a first come, first serve basis. Each school is licensed for 52 children. Registration is available on-line ONLY.

If you are signing up two or more children, the discounted rate for the additional child(ren) ($190.00/each child for the morning program and $380.00/each child for the afternoon program) will be billed as FULL payment weeks for either 4+ weeks for the morning and 6+ weeks for the afternoon. This is due to software limitations. If you do not want to pay in advance for your additional child(ren), you will need to come to the office with your FIRST payment. Your child(ren) are NOT considered registered until the registration fee and the first week’s payment is made. As the school year continues you may pay on your balance either on-line or continue to give your checks to the staff at each school and we will process them from the office.
