MEETING MINUTES
SEPTEMBER 26, 2007
HOLDEN MUNICIPAL LIGHT DEPARTMENT
Members Present: Paul Challenger, Al Berg, Jim Dunn, Maria Dell'Ovo, Glenn Gaudette,
Robert Ripley, Rick Bates
The meeting was called to order at 7:03 PM.
The Chairman welcomed new members Gaudette and Ripley.
The primary purpose of the meeting was new member orientation and Committee planning for the coming budget year's efforts.
The Committee reviewed Finance Committee Policies as adopted in October 2005. Suggestions for changes will be considered at the next meeting.
The Committee reviewed the Finance Committee Policy Goals for FY08 and Finance Committee Budget Expectations for FY08. Suggestions for FY09 Goals and Expectations will be considered at a future meeting.
The Committee reviewed available documentation relative to the fiscal health of the Water/Sewer Fund.
Mr. Bates reported on the status of work by the Public Safety Building Committee.
The Committee discussed options for meeting dates during the Fall and Spring busy periods.
The next meeting will be on 10 Oct 2007, at the Senior Center.
The meeting adjourned at 9:20 PM.
