ANNUAL TOWN CENSUS
The annual census has been mailed to each household. Complete and return the census form to the Town Clerk, Town Hall, 1196 Main Street by January 25. You may return the form by mail or drop off the form at the Town Hall, Starbard Building, or Senior Center.
If you misplaced your census form or did not receive a census form, please call the Town Clerk’s Office at 829-0265.
Each city and town in Massachusetts is required to conduct an annual census. The local census is used to maintain the voting list, aids in school enrollment projections, planning, public safety and senior citizens’ needs. The local census also establishes proof of residency, which is often needed for veterans’ benefits, reduced tuition at state colleges and universities, and the like.
As a convenience to residents owning dogs, an application has been enclosed to license the dog(s) by mail.
Your quick response will enable the Town of Holden to complete the annual census in a timely manner.
