The Holden Council on Aging relies heavily on a very talented group of approximately 150 volunteers who perform a myriad of different activities. They are people who do everything from:
• Delivering meals on wheels
• Retired nurses taking blood pressures
• Outreach volunteers
• Filling in at the office
• Intergenerational volunteers
This list is just a very few. Holden Senior Center's volunteers, in 2006, gave 13,438 hours of dedicated service, which, translates into saveing the Town of Holden $200,870.
